NWLC June Newsletter

Posted on June 15, 2012

I’m excited to share this month’s NWLC newsletter with you. Our commission has been so busy that we’ve expanded our newsletter to 4 pages to share with you all the work we’ve been doing.

It’s tremendously encouraging to see the renewal taking place across the country, in terms of new clubs, like the Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound Women’s Club, and in the many new faces on the executives of provincial commissions. In particular, we welcome the fresh energy of our new provincial presidents and thank our past presidents for their dedicated service to the Liberal cause in Canada.

As you know, May saw the launch of the new Supporters category, making the Liberal Party of Canada the most open and modern political movement in Canadian history. Supporters can sign up on line at We encourage you to help spread the word!

Finally, thank you to everyone who responded to NWLC’s online survey last month, in which we asked you for your view on what the NWLC’s priorities should be. Your comments and ideas will be extremely valuable as we work to develop our strategic plan for the coming year.

Yours in Liberalism,

Mary Pynenburg
President National Women’s Liberal Commission

    Hello Liberal Friends,

I am wondering if there is any chance for a woman to enter the Leadership race? I’m thinking of Kirsty Duncan, for example…is anyone else thinking along these lines?
